Welcome to The Counselling People

The Counselling People is a counselling service based in the UK which specialises in email and telephone counselling to give you the benefit of anonymity.

As counsellors we are aware that people often find it difficult to turn to others around them when they are feeling weak and vulnerable. Sometimes those in a position of responsibility feel inhibited from seeking help for their own needs.

The Counselling People is staffed by qualified counsellors who have a wide experience of dealing with a myriad of problems and difficulties. We offer complete anonymity where the communication is by telephone or email and your counsellor never sees you face to face unless you request it.

At The Counselling People we are seeking to provide a confidential service that makes you as comfortable as possible where you have a safe place to discuss what is troubling you. We operate within the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Code of Practice and Ethics. We aim to provide you with the highest standard of care. We regard each client as unique and endeavour to tailor our services to individual needs.

We work on a session by session basis so you are not tied to a given number of sessions. You will never be contacted by us unless you request that.
